ANALISIS STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL ANTARA PETUGAS IMIGRASI DAN WISATAWAN ASING PADA BANDARA INTERNASIONAL SULTAN HASANUDDIN MAKASSAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi komunikasi interpersonal yang diterapkan petugas imigrasi dalam berinteraksi dengan wisatawan asing serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat komunikasi di Bandara Internasional Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan metode studi kasus tunggal. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap petugas yang bertugas di Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi (TPI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petugas imigrasi menerapkan strategi komunikasi interpersonal yang bersifat fungsional, adaptif, dan situasional dengan menekankan kejelasan pesan, penggunaan bahasa sederhana, pemanfaatan komunikasi nonverbal, serta pendekatan empatik dalam menghadapi wisatawan asing. Strategi tersebut disesuaikan dengan kondisi wisatawan, perbedaan budaya, serta situasi operasional di lapangan sehingga mampu mendukung efektivitas komunikasi dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keimigrasian.
